Personal Foolishness for the year.
Got some new sunglasses. Went out for a walk in bright sunshine and discovered I was seeing dots in front of my eyes, which caused me some concern. Turns out out the dots were the marking method they use to line up your eyes with the lenses. The optometrist just forgot to rub them off!
At Home Depot, “she who must be obeyed” wants a small planter box from that shelf up there. I dutifully reach up and on tippy toes have to tilt the planter to separate it from the others in the pile.
Arm fully extended I do the final tilt and accumulated rainfall in the planter flows directly down my arm, inside my jacket and soaks my shirt!
Did I mention we had a good two inches of rain the previous day?
Good thing we took the planter or I would have been annoyed.
Saw there was a big fight at the local fish market. When it was over the fish were found to be badly battered.
